A child struggling with behavioural issues, developmental setbacks, or other psychological concerns can lead to feelings of profound distress, fatigue, and hopelessness for parents. Children and youth often struggle with adapting to complex situations such as divorce, adoption, communication difficulties, peer pressure, sibling rivalry, bullying, learning disorders, and traumatic experiences.
At Supporting Wellness , we cater to families with multiple concerns and are highly knowledgeable about child therapy. Growing up in today's society is not easy. A dedicated child psychologist in Cold Lake can help youth manage various aspects of their lives, including familial dynamics, social development, and the overwhelming nature of technology and social media. We have locations in Calgary, Red Deer and Cold Lake to provide relevant and relatable support.
If your child begins to exhibit any signs of emotional distress, they may be dealing with a psychological challenge and need professional counselling. Look for indicators such as:
Uncharacteristic mood swings
Sudden behavioural changes
Physical symptoms like frequent headaches
Nightmares or disrupted sleep patterns
Signs of self-harm
A noticeable lack of concentration at school or home
We do our best to ensure you feel completely safe and comfortable when you come for your appointment. We are deeply dedicated to maintaining an environment that is safe, comfortable and inviting to families.
