Addiction Counselling Red Deer

What Is Addiction Counselling?

Addiction counselling is a professional, evidence-based form of therapy that helps you explore the root causes behind substance use or compulsive behaviours, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a sustainable, meaningful path toward recovery.

At Supporting Wellness in Red Deer, addiction counselling is not about judgment or shame. It is about understanding. Our therapists take time to listen to your full story, because we know that no two journeys with addiction are the same.

Whether you're dealing with alcohol dependency, drug use, prescription misuse, gambling, or other behavioural addictions, addictions counselling offers a safe space to make sense of what's happening and move forward with confidence.

Research shows that counselling is one of the most effective components of addiction treatment, and for many people in Central Alberta, it is the turning point that makes lasting recovery possible.
