Our Counselling Interns are graduate practicum students who are in the final stages of their Master’s training. They bring fresh perspectives, compassion, and dedication to their work while gaining valuable hands-on experience. To ensure the highest standard of care, all sessions are directly supervised by Kate Kolskog, Registered Psychologist & Clinical Director. This structure provides clients with professional, ethical, and supportive counselling while allowing interns to grow their skills under close mentorship.

Over the Phone Consult
Give us a call for an over-the-phone consultation. Booking a therapy session requires no referral. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you access the care you need.
Pair With a Specialist
Once we’ve spoken on the phone, we’ll be able to assess your concerns and pair you with a psychologist in our office who is best suited for your situation. We want you to receive relevant and relatable support. We have locations in Calgary, Red Deer and Cold Lake.
 
Come in to Talk
We look forward to having you come in for your first session; our goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable. You will sit down with a registered psychologist who has specialized knowledge of your area of concern.

No, sessions with Counselling Interns are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. These services are specifically offered at a lower rate to support those without coverage.

All interns are under the direct supervision of Kate Kolskog, Registered Psychologist & Clinical Director. Regular supervision, training, and case consultation ensure that every client receives safe, effective, and ethical
care.

Interns are trained to work with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. If more specialized support is required, clients may be referred to
one of our experienced therapists.
