Private Yoga Classes

One-on-one yoga practice can offer numerous benefits that group classes cannot provide. Firstly, individual attention from a yoga instructor means that adjustments and modifications can be made on a personal level to accommodate any physical limitations or injuries. This customized support can also help students progress at their own pace, without feeling left behind or unsupported. Additionally, one on one yoga can offer a more intimate and focused environment, conducive to concentration and quietness. This is perfect for those who prefer a more introspective and slower-paced practice, or who simply want to deepen their yoga experience. Ultimately, one on one yoga can provide a more personalized and transformative experience for both the mind and body.

Our yoga instructor helps our clients with breath work, understanding where the body is holding tension or pain, and how to strengthen and release tension from different areas of the body.  With one or two private sessions our clients gain tools they can use with ease on their own at home, or to help them progress tour our small group class.

Gentle Movement & Strength Training Small Group Yoga: 10 spots per class.

Gentle movement yoga is a practice that combines the principles of traditional yoga with slow and easy-to-perform movements. This style of yoga focuses on bringing one's attention to the present moment, paying attention to the breath and body sensations while transitioning through various yoga postures. There will also be an emphasis on mindfulness during the practice helps to calm the mind and reduce stress and anxiety, while physical movement promotes improved strength, balance, and flexibility. As a result, mindful movement yoga can leave practitioners feeling more grounded and centred in both their minds and bodies.

Supporting Wellness offers a small group yoga class to ensure that one feels safe and encouraged.  Sometimes being in a big class can be intimidating preventing one to take the next steps toward wellness.  At Supporting Wellness, we want our clients to have a personalized experience.

Step 1: Over the Phone Consult

Give us a call for an over-the-phone consultation. Booking a session requires no referral. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you access the care you need.

Step 2: Pair With a Specialist

Once we’ve spoken on the phone, we’ll be able to assess your concerns and pair you with a psychologist in our office who is best suited for your situation. We want you to receive relevant and relatable support. We have locations in both Calgary and Coldlake.

Step 3: Come in to Talk

We look forward to having you come in for your first session; our goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable. You will sit down with a registered psychologist who has specialized knowledge of your area of concern.
