Psycho-educational assessments help with identifying giftedness, learning disabilities, ADHD and social/emotional concerns such as anxiety and depression.
I also provide assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I offer assessments starting at age 3 into adulthood.
I’ve been doing psycho-educational assessments as a registered psychologist since 2018. Before working as a psychologist, I was a middle school classroom teacher in Calgary and Edmonton) for many years. I use this to shape meaningful assessments that are beneficial to parents and schools. I also work with students transitioning from high school into university. I also work with adults who have ongoing concerns about their achievement. Many adults seek an assessment to understand their learning and work styles to help maximize performance. When you understand how your brain works, teaching and learning strategies that are likely to be successful become clear and progress is inevitable.
My assessments use only the newest materials that are considered industry gold standard. Unlike many large practices that can have months long waitlists, and take several months to complete assessments, Supporting Wellness is usually able to book in new assessments within a couple of weeks. Depending on when assessments are booked, assessments are usually completed within 3-4 weeks.
