John Wang

Registered Psychologist

Languages Spoken: English, Mandarin

John Wang is a Registered Psychologist who believes in meeting clients where they are, offering a collaborative and client-centered approach. Working with individuals, couples, and families—from children to elders—he creates a space where your needs and values are the priority. After a few sessions, clients would likely describe him as a warm, grounded professional who combines genuine understanding with practical strategies, helping them feel both seen and equipped to navigate their challenges.

I am deeply committed to reducing the stigma around mental health and making support accessible for everyone, including marginalized communities. My own path has been shaped by a passion for learning and advocacy, whether I’m co-investigating mental health research or simply enjoying the Alberta Rockies by bike. To me, therapy is a partnership—a space where you can show up as you are, and together, we can work toward the change you want to see.
