How Can Therapy Help With An Eating Disorder?

Therapy can be an effective treatment for eating disorders. It can help a person identify triggers and underlying causes, learn healthy coping skills, develop a better relationship with food and the body, challenge negative beliefs about the body, and increase self-esteem. With early treatment, therapy can improve the chances of full recovery.

At Supporting Wellness, our therapists will help you discover your underlying challenges, and help develop healthy ways to overcome them.
