I first heard of Hypnotherapy from a friend. We were discussing how I had felt “stuck” along my personal development journey. I had tried everything else I could think of, so I decided to give it a go. I was thrilled at the results within just a couple of sessions!
With my various backgrounds in health/ wellness, energy work and the eagerness to continually grow, I decided to become a therapist. I take a very holistic & intuitive approach with my clients, as each persons’ needs are unique and deserved to be treated as so.
Hypnosis is a state of consciousness that is different than our regular waking state. It is a more relaxed state & focused state. It’s a very natural state. In fact, most of us find ourselves in a state of hypnosis every day without even knowing! In hypnosis, the conscious mind becomes less busy, leaving our subconscious mind more open and suggestible. To give this a bit of perspective; 90% of our thoughts, perceptions, emotional responses, beliefs and behaviours are ran by the subconscious mind! So, it makes sense we would access that powerful part of the mind to create powerful & lasting change.
Hypnotherapy combines specialized therapeutic techniques with hypnosis to achieve a desired result for the client. In a hypnosis session, I look to find the root issue. Once I have found the root & tapped into the “control panel” that is the subconscious mind, transformation happens quite quickly for clients! Especially compared to more traditional methods.
