I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work, and I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I entered the role of therapist later in life, after spending two decades in healthcare, and I bring that life experience and steadiness into every session. Working with people across the lifespan has taught me the power of a calm, honest connection when life feels hard.My work is relational, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused. I help individuals, couples, and families who are navigating transitions, relationship struggles, grief, or the heavy impact of past hurts. I use practical, evidence-informed approaches (couples and family systems work, Internal Family System theory, and skills that draw on Emotionally Focused Family Therapy and Gottman Couples method), tailoring everything to what feels safe and valuable for you. I value collaboration: we’ll set realistic goals together and regularly check in on what’s working.Clients tell me I’m warm, grounded, and straightforward, someone who creates a down-to-earth space where you can be honest and also learn tools that make day-to-day life easier.
